3. Chemical Testing

4. Mechanical Testing & Metallography

Geo-Chem offers a comprehensive suite of mechanical testing services designed to assess the physical properties and structural integrity of materials. Our expertise spans a wide range of tests including tensile, bend, re-bend, compression, proof load, hardness impact, flaring flattening, compression strength, flexural strength, impact value, crushing value, soundness, and more.

Additionally, our mechanical testing capabilities extend to cement and concrete testing, encompassing durability assessments, mix design testing, drying shrinkage analysis, water penetration testing (WPT), drying penetration testing (DPT), permeability evaluations, and setting time measurements, among others.

Furthermore, our metallography services include macro and micro examinations such as analysis of microstructure, analysis of case depth, decarb (decarburization), inclusion rating and grain size evaluations. We also specialize in corrosion testing, offering assessments for various types of corrosion including Intergranular Corrosion (IGC) A, B, C, and E, as well as Hydrogen Induced Cracking (HIC).

Moreover, our non-destructive testing (NDT) capabilities cover a wide range of concrete inspections, including half-cell potential measurements, cover depth assessments, ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) testing, rebound hammer evaluations, slab load testing, and core extraction and testing.
