Strengthening industry–academia collaboration to advance innovation in food and fermentation science

On January 2, 2026, the Department of Food Technology and Biochemical Engineering at Jadavpur University hosted a landmark conference titled “Food and Fermentation Technologies in an Industry–Academic Confluence” at the Triguna Sen Auditorium. The event brought together leaders from renowned food, biochemical, beverage, and service industries, alongside distinguished academic institutions, for insightful discussions on emerging trends and innovations in food and fermentation technologies.
The program featured a panel discussion that explored collaborative opportunities between industry and academia, fostering knowledge exchange and innovation. Representing Cotecna, Mr. Subrata Saha, CQR Business Director, delivered an impactful address to the audience, emphasizing Cotecna’s commitment to advancing quality and safety standards in the food and beverage sector.
Cotecna proudly participated as one of the event partners, contributing to the successful organization of this knowledge-sharing platform. The day concluded with an engaging Alumni Meet and a vibrant cultural show, celebrating the spirit of collaboration and community.
